How can I make an automatic vertical scrolling text, that doesn't restart when refreshing the page?
I plan on using this scrolling marquee as the header on my site but as I change pages I want the text that is scrolling to continue where it left off and not restart at the beginning each time the page is refreshed or changed. Thoughts?
If you know how to do this I'd love to see an example of it working.
I am not really a coder so I appreciate any help you can give me. *10 point* hang in the balance here if you can help me figure this out quickly.

steps involved, the way I' see it that is:
- keep track of the content of the marquee; that is you should always know what item is currently displayed
- create a function that will create a cookie in which you will store the index (position of an item in an array of items) of the current item that is scrolled in the marquee(Ex: function saveMarquee(){...})
- create a function that will look for the above cookie and extract the index of the item to be displayed in the marquee as initial value(Ex: function readMarqueeCookie(){....})
- bind your SaveMarquee function to window.onunload event(ex: window.onunload = saveMarquee; )
and the readMarqueeCookie to window.onload (Ex: window.onload = readMarqueeCookie; )
