PC gamers, what are your complaints about Vista? How is XP better?
My computer can handle Vista, but if it's too much of a pain, I'll avoid it.
Here's my info...
I never play on line, I always play in career or arcade modes.
I have some logitech and saitek joysticks and they simply have to work well with Vista or it's a no-go.
Performance and graphics are my desire.
How does XP perform better?
Answer:
I don't have any complaints. I've got some "old" games that I still like to fire up from time to time -- such as Call of Duty 2, Ghost Recon, Doom3 -- and as old as they are, they loaded up and ran without a hitch.
Because Vista is a resouce hog, just make sure you have sufficient RAM before installing. The avg home user can probably skate by with just 2GB but if you can afford 3GB, I'd recommend getting it.
