The Plumber Who Fights Dumb Apes And Koopas
Back then while I was still young, there exists no high-tech Xbox or Wii for us to play with. Such game consoles never even existed in our dreams back then. However, we did have things such as these back then, although not as advanced as the ones available now, but nevertheless, we enjoy them. Of all the games available then, "Donkey Kong" is amongst my favorites. It is a game about a carpenter and his pet ape who he mistreated. The ape kidnaps the carpenters girlfriend after escaping from his master. In summary, the object of the game is to control the carpenter "Jumpman" though 4 stages to rescue his girlfriend form his ape.
This game became a hit back then and the protagonist and the antagonist became very popular video game characters. The ape would be know as Donkey Kong. The carpenter, who would be eventually be known as a plumber, was named Mario.
The worlds most famous character in gaming history is none other than Mario. He is so popular that he appeared in over 200 games in various video game genres. And as a tribute to the most popular game, there have been many thing with the theme of Mario like a Super Mario house, Super Mario Bros Costumes. I have also seen giant lego statues.
Mario is so well know that I doubt if there are people who does not know who he is. Even if they are not crazy about Mario, I think some people at least know something about Mario. There are many people who are crazy about Super Mario. There are also people who designs their homes like a Mario world, from the inside to the outside, even the furnitures! I also recall that I became addicted to Mario back then. I remember owning lots of Super Mario Bros Costumes and play only Mario games even if I have a lot of games at home. I think I still have some of those costume, which I will look for when I have the time. I also think that I hum the Mario theme song often when I was still young. There are many people who have other ways of expressing this Mario craze, which are just too many to include in this article. However, I think you get the idea on how popular Mario is.
Mario has really become part of our history. I think that even in the future, Mario will still live on.
