The Civic And Integra Rule Atlanta's Import Scene
Atlanta is the most populous city in America and a busy hub for business, the arts and the entertainment industry. It also has quite a thriving import racing scene with lots of enthusiasts eager to show off their lowered and souped up rides on the city's finest roadways. The import scene consists of car lovers modifying, fixing up and lowering cars. This bustling city hosts some of the biggest import show events including the Import Alliance Show, Hot Import Nights plus the Atlanta Dragway import show off. One of the two most popular cars on the Atlanta racing scene is the Honda Civic and the iconic and now discontinued Acura Integra.
The Civic has always been one of the most popular cars on the import scene, not just in Atlanta but in Socal as well as Japan. Reasons why it’s a prime choice include its affordability, light-size weight plus numerous aftermarket parts for lowering and customizing. Lowering the Civic improves its handling on the road plus not to mention that lowered cars look cool and badass. Honda Civic Atlanta offers great prices on the Civic.
Honda debuted the 2012 Civic at the Detroit auto show and the sports car received a makeover with modified tail lights and a new rear bumper. Eco-assist is in place, a feature which trains the driver to drive a lot more efficiently and conserve gas. Three engine choices will be available; natural gas, hybrid and traditional. The 2012 Civic would make a stunning import car due to its new and striking appearance. The engine will be a 2.0 Liter with a total of 197 hp and a six-speed transmission will be in place. MSRP for the base model will cost around the late $15k range. New Honda Atlanta will have the new 2012 Civic available as soon as it's available for sale.
Another rather “old school” but classic car quite popular in the Atlanta racing scene is the Acura Integra. Unfortunately this car is no longer produced, but it’s considered a classic in the import scene due to its aggressive and sporty look. The Integra was especially popular during the 90’s when it was very trendy, especially on the Socal import scene. It is a staple on the import scene because of the fact that parts can be easily changed plus with the right mods it can become a relly fast drag car. Import fans frequently install GSR and Type R engines. Integra’s have won tons of drag races and road races for over a decade now. The third generation Type-R engine puts out 195 hp and 8000 rpm. The valve train contains four valves per cylinder and dual overhead camshafts with Variable Valve Timing and a VTEC system. Many import fans consider the Acura Integra one of the best front wheel drive vehicles ever made. The Integra was replaced in 2002 with Acura's RSX. New Acura Atlanta has a vast selection of the new RSX.
Next time you are in Atlanta you’re bound to be driving alongside some really nice fixed up and import cars. Atlanta is quickly becoming the drifting Mecca on the East Coast and giving SoCal a serious challenge when it comes to being a leader in the scene.

Frequently Asked Questions...
Yamaha Vino performance parts? Help?
Would this part fit a 2006 Yamaha Vino?
http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/5/37/439/9591/21722/PITEM/Leo-Vince-ZX-Chrome-Exhaust-2004-Yamaha-Vino-Classic-Parts.aspx
And what other parts could I add to boost acceleration, RPM, etc.
Answer:
That pipe will not fit an 06 vino. Besides a pipe typical performance parts would include high flow air filter and re-jetting the carb. There are also weight and spring kits for the CVT as well as kevlar drive belts to handel the extra power.
